Things to include:1. Evidence of desk-based research into the topic of the Dissertation2. Ability to write extensively for an extended piece of work for 10,000 words3. Primary and secondary sources relevant to the topic such as case law, legislation, recent and relevant findings etc. All sources used should be referenced using the OSCOLA style. (there is no limit on the amount of references needed use a good amount of relevant sources and reference them)The dissertation should address the following learning outcomes:
1 Identify, determine and justify a disciplinary-relevant project, including its aims,scopes and objectives.
2 Critically analyse the norms, arguments or concepts in the chosen area of law, indetail.
3 Construct a coherent and sustained scholarly argument through a dissertation onthe chosen area of law with due regard to the rules and conventions of the Englishlanguage and in a format compliant with OSCOLA
4 Conduct effective research into the chosen area of law communicating, in writing,the outcomes of that research, distinguishing between specialist and non-specialist audiences.
