Murder in my manslaughter are both very serious crimes which involve killing a person unlawfully, but can differ, depending on the intent and circumstances of the situation.

Murder is often characterized by a delivery intent to cause serious harm or to kill. Often premeditated manslaughter usually involves a lack of intent to kill from circumstances that may provoke a person to lose self-control and lead to negligent actions of someone’s death.

In a scenario where manslaughter occurs, say there were two women at a bar, where an argument arises in which alcohol was involved. The argument then escalates and turns into intense anger, and one of the women pushes the other, who falls back and hits their head on the floor.

The woman who falls back and hits their head on the floor, does end up passing away due to impact. The woman who pushed the other woman did not intend to kill and her actions were impulsive and provoked by the argument that arose in influence with alcohol. This scenario shows an example of manslaughter because the first woman acted without premeditation and in the heat of a moment which led to an unintended death.

In a scenario of murder, say there was a man who had discovered that his partner had been cheating on him. In fit of rage he begins to plan a murder of the girlfriend and purchases a weapon and stalks her for several days.

When the man finally confronts her, he then begins to deliberately stab her multiple times, intending to kill her. This shows a clear scenario of murder due to the man’s clear intentions and premeditated actions purposely in the partner‘s life overcome by rage and jealousy.
